KYF Tree Planting and Sanitary Pads Donation Event

Date: 22nd February 2025
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

The Kenya Youth Federation (KYF) is thrilled to announce an impactful initiative scheduled for 22nd February 2025 in Nairobi. This event will feature Tree Planting and Sanitary Pads Donation, aimed at addressing critical environmental and hygiene challenges while fostering youth empowerment and sustainable development.

In collaboration with Kenya Scouts Association and Global Peace Foundation Kenya, this event underscores KYF’s commitment to promoting environmental conservation and restoring dignity to young girls through improved menstrual hygiene. It is a testament to the power of partnerships and collective action in creating a brighter and more inclusive future.

Why This Event Matters

  1. Environmental Impact:
Planting trees is a vital step in combating climate change and improving urban ecosystems. By engaging youth in tree planting, we empower them to take active roles in protecting their environment.

  2. Menstrual Hygiene Support:
Many young girls in Kenya face barriers to education and dignity due to a lack of access to sanitary pads. Through this initiative, we aim to restore confidence and ensure no girl is left behind.
