About Me:
James Kamau is a passionate Conservation Biologist and a Master’s student in Plant Ecology at Kenyatta University. He is a dedicated environmentalist, driven by the “Hummingbird way” instilled by the esteemed Prof. Wangari Maathai.
As the founder and Chairman of The Millennials Environmentalists and a founding member and Chief Operations Officer of Ready Aiders Foundation, James actively seeks to address environmental challenges. He is a strong advocate for conservation and community engagement, demonstrating his commitment through his leadership roles.
Currently, James is President-Elect of the Rotaract Club of Nairobi Parklands and will assume the role of President in June. This further highlights his leadership skills and dedication to serving his community.
Known as “Chief Hummingbird,” James embodies a proactive and impactful approach to environmental conservation, inspiring others to take action, no matter how small.
